    HAND MADE WOODEN TOPS:

    Oak is a hardwood, known for its density and hardness.  Oak is less prone to wear and tear from daily use. It can withstand frequent cleaning, spills, and impacts better than softer woods, maintaining its appearance for longer periods.

    Oak is known for its longevity. Properly maintained, an oak table top can last for generations, making it a worthwhile investment for furniture that will stand the test of time.

    As each piece of timber we use has individual characteristics, tables may vary very slightly to the image; due to the finish we apply absorbing differently the natural marks and scours.

    PROFESSIONAL METAL FINISHES:

    The legs are available in a range of powder coated finishes as well as raw steel and brushed steel options. All powder coats are satin finishes and provide a tough protective layer.

    Our raw steel and brushed steel options are recommended for indoor use only, for outdoor furniture we recommend the powder coated options (black, grey or white) or choosing the raw steel option and painting them with an exterior metal paint. We can also powder coat in other RAL colours – please contact us for a custom quotation.

    The standard dimensions of the Table & Benches are below but we can customise any of these dimensions – please contact us for details.

    Table top:

    • Thickness: 14cm
    • Depth: 81cm, 90cm or 104cm

    Bench:

    • Height: 45cm
    • Depth: 39cm

    As standard, the length of the bench will be 35cm less than the length of the table. However, this length is completely customisable. The pilot holes put the legs around 7cm from the tables edge (same for the bench if ordered), this can be customised - please contact us for details.

    Tables 3.1m and over will be supplied with an extra Table leg for stability.  This will limit the users ability to place the bench all the way under the table.  Benches over 3.1m will also be supplied with an extra bench leg for stability.

    Raw Steel and Brushed Steel options take approximately 3 days to manufacture. Powder coated colours, such as grey and white take approximately 5-10 working days.  Once complete, we will deliver it to you based on your chosen delivery option.  Please note that due to the nature of powder-coating we are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed.

    We use a blend of beeswax and carnauba wax, two of the finest waxes known to man. Our wax is designed to protect raw wood and can be applied to virtually any existing finish. The wax is hand applied by the craftsmen in our workshop. The wax adds to resilience of the wood which makes for easy cleaning. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking amazing!

    The wax enhances the natural grain whilst protecting the wood

    Once applied, the timber soaks up the wax and enriches its natural features. The wax not only adds to the resilience of the shelves, but it also makes for easy cleaning as they are water-resistant. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking amazing!

    The wood is a natural material, so it may absorb the wax slightly differently across different pieces.

    Raw Steel – Dark Grey in colour and built using robust malleable iron fittings and mild Steel pipe. Our Raw Steel is coated with a protective lacquer so although not suitable for outdoors it is designed to last a lifetime indoors.

    Brass – We only use the highest quality Italian Brass fittings and solid Brass pipe on our furniture. Brass will not corrode and is great for outdoor and indoor use. To provide a full range of sizes for our brass pipework, we cut and thread pipes from longer lengths for specific sizes. This process may result in some minor marks on the brass, which are visible upon close inspection.

    Copper - All our Copper products are protected with a hardwearing clear lacquer to ensure they keep their natural glow. Copper will not corrode and is great for outdoor and indoor use. If used outside be sure to treat it with care to ensure it keeps the natural glow.

    Industrial Silver – Silver in colour, our Galvanised Steel range has been dipped and treated with Zinc to make it water and rust-resistant. The galvanised coating is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than standard powder coating. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use.

    Stainless Steel – The pièce de resistance of metal, Silver and reflective in colour. Stainless Steel is made by adding Chromium to Molten Steel making it incredibly resistant to rust from water and salt water than galvanised Steel. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use, your stainless-steel piece of furniture will literally last forever.

    Powder Coated – A powder-based paint that is sprayed onto the Steel. It is chip resistant and helps prevent water corrosion. The paint doesn’t chip, crack and peel like traditional paint making it more durable. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Available in a choice of colours please see all RAL colours here www.ralcolor.com (colours are subject to availability and prices may vary outside of Black, Anthracite Grey or White).
