    DIY Reclaimed Timber Table Top

    The DIY Table top comprises of three or four pieces (depth dependant) of rustic, reclaimed timber that just need to be screwed together with the supplied steel strip. This makes the table depth 58.5cm, 66cm, 78cm or 88cm. We can customise this if needed, please just contact us.

    Each piece of timber we use is sourced from only FSC suppliers, ensuring our commitment to the preservation of the environment.

    We carefully sand, plane and hand wax each table that leaves our workshop; while ensuring we do not take away from the timber’s natural characteristics, something that is very difficult to replicate in mass-produced tables.

    As each piece of timber we use has individual characteristics, tables may vary very slightly to the image; due to our finishing wax absorbing differently the natural marks and scours.

    As we cut every length of wood in our local workshop, we can create the table to the dimensions to fit exactly what you require.

    All our furniture is handmade in the UK, which means we can make all our products to the size you want.

    All sizes and measurements are customisable, please contact us with your bespoke measurements for a personal quote.

    We use a blend of beeswax and carnauba wax, two of the finest waxes known to man. Our wax is designed to protect raw wood and can be applied to virtually any existing finish. The wax is hand applied by the craftsmen in our workshop. The wax adds to resilience of the wood which makes for easy cleaning. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking amazing!

    The wax enhances the natural grain whilst protecting the wood

    Once applied, the timber soaks up the wax and enriches its natural features. The wax not only adds to the resilience of the shelves, but it also makes for easy cleaning as they are water-resistant. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking amazing!

    The wood is a natural material, so it may absorb the wax slightly differently across different pieces.

    Raw Steel – Dark Grey in colour and built using robust malleable iron fittings and mild Steel pipe. Our Raw Steel is coated with a protective lacquer so although not suitable for outdoors it is designed to last a lifetime indoors.

    Brass – We only use the highest quality Italian Brass fittings and solid Brass pipe on our furniture. Brass will not corrode and is great for outdoor and indoor use. To provide a full range of sizes for our brass pipework, we cut and thread pipes from longer lengths for specific sizes. This can add a few extra days to the lead time to produce fully brass items. 

    Copper - All our Copper products are protected with a hardwearing clear lacquer to ensure they keep their natural glow. Copper will not corrode and is great for outdoor and indoor use. If used outside be sure to treat it with care to ensure it keeps the natural glow.

    Industrial Silver – Silver in colour, our Galvanised Steel range has been dipped and treated with Zinc to make it water and rust-resistant. The galvanised coating is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than standard powder coating. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use.

    Stainless Steel – The pièce de resistance of metal, Silver and reflective in colour. Stainless Steel is made by adding Chromium to Molten Steel making it incredibly resistant to rust from water and salt water than galvanised Steel. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use, your stainless-steel piece of furniture will literally last forever.

    Powder Coated – A powder-based paint that is sprayed onto the Steel. It is chip resistant and helps prevent water corrosion. The paint doesn’t chip, crack and peel like traditional paint making it more durable. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Available in a choice of colours please see all RAL colours here www.ralcolor.com (colours are subject to availability and prices may vary outside of Black, Anthracite Grey or White).
